8 Easy Steps to Taking Care of Your Hands

One of the most important components of our bodies are our hands. It may be used for a variety of tasks, including writing, cooking, and, most importantly for me, doing push-ups.

However, many people may wonder or inquire "How important is it to take care of the hands? I mean, as long as I keep my distance from sharp objects, that's enough."

True, but that isn't all that is required to take better care of the hands.

As men and women, I'm sure we'd all like to have scar-free hands, as well as moisturized, smooth and beautiful nail growth.

These steps, in my professional judgement, will aid in the care of the hands.

1). If at all possible, avoid soap and harsh detergents, as the foaming and antibacterial properties of the soap are likely to strip the hands off their natural fats and oils. Use a moisturizing cleanser instead, and be sure to thoroughly rinse off.

2). Avoid water that is overly hot or cold.

3). Restrain from cutting your cuticles (even if it has a cut in it, lol), as they act as a barrier for bacteria; instead, exfoliate and use a waterless treatment.

4). Remove nail polish correctly; don't be in a rush.

5). After removing the fixed nails from your hands (which you should please do), give them time to breathe (don't fix for at least a week).

6). Remember to keep your nails trimmed and not bite them. Trimming your nails encourages them to grow more quickly.

7). Always keep your hands, nails, and palms moisturized. Olive oil, coconut oil, fresh milk cream, honey, or aloe vera can all be used.

8). Finally, drink plenty of water to keep your skin and body hydrated.
